Michael W. Leslie is a communications and operations executive with more than two decades of experience leading media strategy, public affairs, and organizational management across military, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.

During his 20-year tenure with the Texas Army National Guard, Leslie served as Senior Public Affairs Manager, directing statewide media relations, crisis communications, and strategic storytelling. He produced award-winning campaigns, pioneered live satellite broadcast capabilities during Operation Iraqi Freedom, led communications during FEMA-certified disaster response missions for Hurricane Harvey and major winter storms, and reimagined public relations for the Texas Army National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force. His work not only strengthened the Guard’s public image but also set a new standard for collaboration between military, government, and media partners.

Following his military service, Leslie brought his expertise to civilian leadership roles, including Director of Operations for the Texas–Israel Alliance, where he managed strategic outreach, events, and cross-sector partnerships, and Operations Manager at Texas Venture Partners, where he supported emerging technology ventures. He also served as Deputy Project Manager for Cherokee Federal, overseeing large-scale refugee resettlement and employment initiatives.

Based in Austin, Texas, Leslie continues to lead with a focus on communication, clarity, and operational excellence—bridging mission-driven storytelling with strategic execution.
