Judd Hollas brings over 20 years’ experience building, scaling, and restructuring high-growth organizations, to his work leading investor relations strategy at Distinctive Edge Partners. He has led 300% growth turnarounds by spearheading equity recapitalizations, financial restructurings, and digital transformations, in addition to a host of other business accomplishments. With deep expertise in growth strategy, fundraising, and financial structuring, he brings a unique ability to align capital planning with market execution. He specializes in equipping founders and growth-stage funds and businesses with the capital strategies, insights, and operational tools needed to secure investment, expand market presence, and achieve long-term success.

 

Prior to his role, as a Senior Strategist, Judd founded and sold EquityNet, one of the world’s first patented business crowdfunding platforms, laying the groundwork for what would become a transformative industry. Under his leadership, EquityNet facilitated more than $600 million in funding for over 1,000 companies, supporting innovators across the U.S. with access to capital from over 20,000 investors, private equity groups, and venture capital firms.

Judd’s unique mix of internal executive leadership experience, paired with years of senior advisory roles across industries enables him to see opportunity and risk from multiple angles.  In addition to his work with EquityNet he has worked with high-growth companies—ranging from SaaS platforms and real estate investment firms to accelerator programs and technology startups. With deep expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), regulatory compliance, risk management, capital strategy, and investor relations, he brings a hands-on, data-driven approach to helping businesses scale. Judd has held titles including CFO, COO, and Program Director, where he has built and scaled award-winning REITs, led equity recapitalizations, drove platform modernization for web3 environments, and built strategic partnerships across the financial services ecosystem.

His background also includes experience in engineering and research, having started his career as a process engineer at Phillips Petroleum and later serving as a research director for Beta-Rubicon, a firm supporting private equity clients with technical due diligence and valuation models. Judd holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, graduating magna cum laude, and completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program, further strengthening his foundation in investment analysis, accounting, and quantitative methods.

As both a strategist and inventor, Judd is the holder of five U.S. patents in AI/ML marketplace systems, business analytics, and risk quantification technologies. His passion lies in helping founders and investors navigate the intersection of innovation and capital—especially across small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) looking to access funding, build long-term strategies, and unlock meaningful growth.
